My life’s four immeasurables

(慈)
My mother,
To repay the unconditional care
that mothers shower on their children.

(喜)
My life partner,
For her happiness multiplies mine.

(悲)
My science,
My small contribution to the welfare of others.

(舍)
My practice,
That keeps my feet planted on the ground
while trying to hold up the weight of the sky.
And the grass on the ground is green,
The sky behind the clouds are blue.
