Harmony

When rain pours and lightning flashes,
Go home!
For home is a refuge.
But a home needs house-keeping,
To be an enclave of harmony.

Vindictiveness ends in regret and frustration.

Yet we always make this mistake.

Why?

Because tolerance brings no apparent relief.

What, then, does?

A still mind does.

When regret pours and frustration flashes,
Go home to the stillness of the mind!
For a still mind is a refuge.
But a mind needs house-keeping,
To be an enclave of harmony.
